The length of your appointment will depend upon your specific eye conditions. A full exam with dilation will be approximately 60-75 minutes. A follow up appointment can range from 30-45 minutes.

We understand that having your eyes dilated is an inconvenience but it is a crucial aspect of a complete eye exam. Your eyes will be dilated in order to evaluate for serious eye diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. The dilation lasts for four to six hours and can make you more sensitive to light and a little blurry.
